The Data Plotly plugin is new for QGIS 3.0. It allows you to explore your GIS data visually right in QGIS. I’ve had a few days to play with it and I am quite impressed. It seems very quick, very stable, well-documented, and easy to use. I think it is a very useful addition to QGIS. I give it 5 stars.
Although QGIS 3.0 has not been released yet you can download and use the current release candidate from the QGIS web site.
The video below is one lecture out of more than 70 in a course I have released on Udemy.com called QGIS 3.0 for GIS professionals. More information on that course is available here.
More information on the Data Plotly plugin can be found on Anita Grasers blog, and the plugin’s github page.
